About the event

Make Music Ditmas, is a live music event that will take place Sunday, June 21, on Father's Day from 3-5pmon seven porches throughout the tree-lined streets of Victorian Flatbush. Each of the seven porches will feature live performances by professional and advanced local musicians. All music will be performed simultaneously from 3-5 pm. You are invited to Stroll the neighborhood and enjoy different genres of music, from jazz, rhythm, and blues, classical, folk, rock, and more.

The event, run by Cortelyou Road Merchants Association (CoRMA), is a fundraiser to assist small business owners who are struggling to survive during the pandemic. While the event is free to the public, donations via mycortelyou.com GoFundMe page - https://www.gofundme.com/f/mycortelyou-small-business-campaign are greatly appreciated.

Masks and social distancing is required. Chalk lines will be placed 6 ft. apart on sidewalks on both sides of the street in front of each house.

518 Westminster Rd.: Rhythm and Blues, and Jazz- Joel Siegel w/ Blue laws and Kenny Barron- Piano, w/ Dan Loomis on bass and Mark McClean drums

220 Westminster Rd.:  Classic Rock Stanley John Mitchell, Jonas Read, Jackson Fitzgerald, Dalton Hartz, Alexa Barcini Joanna-Barrett-Mitchell, plus guests

308 Stratford Rd. - Folk from First Acoustics

The Cortelyou Road Merchants Association, a volunteer-run group of local merchants and residents works behind the scenes to keep the main commercial corridor in Ditmas Park safe, successful, and clean.  This event is a spin-off of Make Music NY, a 13-year non-profit that brings over 1000 free concerts throughout the year to the streets, by the people for the people!
